Cleaning and Restoration Lead Technician Job Description Keen Attention to Detail Mechanically Inclined Positive Attitude Valid driver's license and clean driving record Comfortable interacting with clients Cleaning and Restoration Lead Technician will be expected to take and pass IICRC certification courses for various cleaning and restoration services.
RSI will pay for these courses.
Cleaning and Restoration Lead Technician will be expected to be able to answer any client's questions in a positive manner (after training) Cleaning and Restoration Lead Technician will be expected to be able to independently complete carpet cleaning, tile cleaning, upholstery cleaning and other various cleaning services (after training) Cleaning and Restoration Lead Technician will be expected to understand and apply the basic chemistry of removing spots from various textiles (after training) Cleaning and Restoration Lead Technician will be expected to respond to emergency water damage calls in a timely manner.
Cleaning and Restoration Lead Technician will be expected to be able to independently extract water, set up any equipment, complete daily moisture checks, take down any equipment, apply any antimicrobial agents, answer client's questions and do any other work to successfully dry structures, various contents and prevent any microbial growth (after training) Cleaning and Restoration Lead Technician will be expected to perform all tasks required for successful mold remediation (after training) Cleaning and Restoration Lead Technician must be available evenings and weekends to respond to emergency water damage calls.
Cleaning and Restoration Lead Technician must be able to work some evenings and weekends, based on commercial cleaning jobs (Office will give advance notice and try to schedule as conveniently as possible) Cleaning and Restoration Lead Technician is expected to keep equipment in good working order, perform basic equipment maintenance, keep company vehicles in neat order and keep shop clean.
Cleaning and Restoration Lead Technician is expected to understand the basic functions and operations of all cleaning and restoration equipment and PPE.
Cleaning and Restoration Lead Technician must be able to think on their feet, adapt to and overcome various unpredictable situations with the equipment and supplies that are available at the time.
Once trained and experienced, Cleaning and Restoration Lead Technician may be provided with subordinate employees that they will be expected to direct, instruct and train.
At times, based on workload and requirement, cleaning and restoration technician may be expected to assist our flooring division with deliveries, installations, prep work or other needs.
RSI Employment Hours RSI Employees are expected to be at work at 8 AM to 4 PM on Mondays through Fridays.
Overtime hours will vary based on emergency calls, commercial cleaning work and general workload.
RSI Compensation RSI employees are paid based on their experience and skill level.
RSI employees are paid on Mondays for hours worked the previous week (Monday-Sunday) RSI Benefits RSI offers five days of paid vacation time after the first year of employment.
After three years of employment, employee will receive 10 days of paid vacation.
After five years of employment, employee will receive 15 days of paid vacation.
Employee can use vacation time for sick days, vacation or personal days.
RSI asks that any days off be scheduled at least 14 days in advance, with the understanding that if someone is sick, it cannot be scheduled in advance.
RSI asks that any vacation time not be used between October 1st and December 31st.
RSI offers six paid holidays:
New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas.
RSI also offers an unpaid holiday:
the day after Thanksgiving.
RSI also will close early (if all scheduled work is completed) the day before Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve day.
RSI is also very aware of the difficult driving conditions that can occur in the winter months.
RSI makes every effort to close the office on inclement weather days for the safety of our employees and vehicles.
