Content Creator (part-time) Southern Vermont's Deerfield Valley is rich in historical heritage and consists of endless opportunities for outdoor activities, events, and economic growth.
The content creator will be in charge of creating & posting engaging content to the Chamber's Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok social media channels to highlight these opportunities.
Job Description The Content Creator's main responsibility will be to capture the essence of Southern Vermont's Deerfield Valley by regularly providing & posting photography and short videos to be used on our social media channel feeds and stories.
By creating stimulating and effective high resolution photographs and short videos of locations within the Deerfield Valley of Southern Vermont this position will help attract new visitors, highlight local businesses, events, & activities, and engage local residents & visitors to explore the area.
Duties & Responsibilities to Include:
Creation and management of a content calendar with the direction and help of the Executive Director, Marketing Director and Office Manager.
Capturing authentic content from the area to be used in social media posts Creating a minimum of 7 engaging social media posts per week, utilizing captured photo & video assets as well as assets owned by the Chamber.
Posts may be scheduled in advance when appropriate.
Sharing of posts by Chamber member businesses Responding to comments on social media channels Compensation Position type - part-time.
Nights and weekends will be required as needed.
Compensation - commensurate with experience.
